Black Ops Gun Info

Introduction

In DTE we have stopped making our app. My group has not finished the app that we were making. While we were trying to make our make we decided that we couldn't make it on App lab. Although we were allowed to use another app called unity to make our game, my group chose to make an app about Black Ops 2 guns information. Our pivot was from making a shooting game to making an app about guns. We used App lab to make our app. Our app is about Black Ops 2 guns information, so like about what the guns called, how much damage per second it does, what type it is, what level it's unlocked by, it's fire mode, and it's ammo. Now we have stopped to make our app.

Reflection

I have learned how to use app lab and how to code on it. We started on making projects on App lab after I did that I started on making the app. I believe that I have learned a lot about game development. Since they helped me do it got pretty easy. While making the app I learned about guns in Black Ops 2.

In my group, everybody contributed. We made a document and we wrote whoever is doing what. Two people in my group were giving the information about the weapons and I was coding the app. Although they finished doing the information about the weapons I needed more time coding and designing the app. I think that my group worked cooperatively well together. Since everybody contributed I found it really easy to make the app. I was pretty happy with how my group worked.

We have not finished making our app, we needed more time. I think that if we had more time we would have finished it. I find App lab really easy to use because you have the choice whether you want to put blocks in or write it out for the coding. The tutorial really help me code. I don't think I would of changed anything while making I only changed it while we were deciding on the final product.

Country Living is Good For Young People?

In English, we are discussing whether country life is good for young people. Here is what I have written about it.

I wonder what the first gaming console was?

The first generation of video game console occurred in 1972 with the Magnavox Odyssey. Magnavox was an American electronics company founded in the United States founded in 1917, that's about 101 years ago. It had become in development in 1968 by Ralph Baer. It was released on September 1972, and its retail availability was from 1972 to 1975, 350,000 consoles were sold during its time. The Magnavox Odyssey color is white and black with a brown box which connected to the television and had two rectangular controllers with wires attached to them. The Magnavox Odyssey was capable of showing three square dots and a vertical line. The two dots were controlled by the players and one dot was controlled by the system.   

Hieroglyphics

Hieroglyphics is an Eygiptian system which was used for communication between themselves. They created symbols to designate a letter and draw/paint them in a vertical way. In modern days we use letters as a way of interacting by writing letters horizontally across the page. This is how humankind communicates with each other without having to draw pictures and write them the way the Egyptians did. In Sost we have done it with our names, here is mine.

I have learned about how people told stories in the olden days and how to draw using sticks. I show my learning because I know how hard it is to draw with sticks. I am wondering what ink they used to draw in their times. I understand how technology has improved by using the old technology.

In English, we are learning about HART. We are learning this because it's NZ history, and it is also important to know what happened. We learned it by researching about it, and by talking about it in class. Here are some questions that I want to ask. What status did the South African government give to Maori members of the visiting 1970 All Black's team? When did New Zealand and South Africa first play rugby against each other?

Aim:

To investigate the factors that cause rusting in iron.

Method:

1. Label 6 test tubes and place in a test tube rack.

2. Test tube contents: Iron nail with tap water (A)

                                   "      "      with salty water (B)

                                   "      "      with water + oil (C)

                                   "      "      and calcium chloride.Sealed with a bung (D)

                                   "      "      with Mg ribbon wrapped around it (E)

                                   "      "      with nail polish (F)

3. Leave the test tubes undisturbed far at least three days.

I wonder how Cheetahs are the fastest land animals?

Cheetahs are the fastest land animal. They are capable of reaching speeds of up to 70 mph. Standing at about 30 inches tall at the shoulder and weighing between 110 and 140 pounds, they have long, graceful legs, a small, rounded head on a long neck, a very flexible spine, a deep chest, special pads on their feet that help with traction, and a long tail that is used for balance at top speed. The cheetah is also the only cat that cannot retract its claws, providing more traction. They also have distinctive black “tear tracks” that run from the corner of each eye to their mouth and provide anti-glare protection for daytime hunting. Cheetahs prefer to hunt during the day, unlike other cats.
