Social Studies reflection

In social studies, we have learned a lot of things. Like what is human rights, child slavery, child soldiers, human trafficking. We also learned about the underground railroad and the slave trade triangle and also learned about Iqbal. 

We learned a lot about human rights. Especially how it affected a lot of people around the world. We had learned that children across the world have lost their human rights. Like Iqbal, he had lost a lot of his human right. Everyone is allowed to have human rights, black or white, old or young. One of the human rights is freedom. Freedom is when you are allowed to do anything. A lot of kids like Iqbal didn't have the right to freedom. 

Harriet Tubman was a slave who escaped and helped other slaves escape. Harriet Tubman was a famous conductor of the Underground Railroad. She leads hundreds of slaves to freedom. She was an American abolitionist, humanitarian, and an armed scout and spy for the United States Army during the American Civil War.  The Underground Railroad was a network of secret routes and safe houses establishing in the United States during the early-mid - 19th century, and are used by African - American slaves to escape into the free states.

The Atlantic Slave Trade involved the transportation of enslaved African people and goods that the slave traders sold, mainly from Africa to America. The slave trade used the triangular trade route, it existed from the 16th to 19th century. the most people that were enslaved from central and West Africa. South Atlantic and the Caribbean were dependent on the slave traders so they could make Europe richer. The first passage was when the slave traders traded the slaves for raw material mainly for tobacco and cotton. Shipowners treated the slaves like cargo, They were transported quickly and inexpensively as possible.

A Shooting game 

Introduction

This week in DTE we have been planning our game by examining some games if we want to put in our game or not. We were authorized to make whatever we want as long as it's not unsuitable. While we were planning our game we were using Padlet and Coggle. We are planning on making a Shooting game, it is called a Pew Pew game. Our game is a Pc game which at least will have 20-30 frames per second and 40-50 ping per second. Our game is a 3rd person shooter. The game is also survival so you have to find gear instead of having it with when you start.

Reflection

I found padlet easy to use as well as coggle. I liked coggle because it was very easy to use and you could make it so it looks very organized. I also liked padlet because you could plan out how you are doing something, and that would also be very organized. I think my team did well on this project. We talked a lot about planning this. At first, we had no idea of what game we were going to do, but then we all decided on making a shooting. Overall I think we had a pretty good success in planning the game.

Periodic Table

Periodic Table

In science, we had to make our own periodic table. We have only put twenty of the elements in our periodic table. It had consisted of the atomic number, mass number, number of protons, number of electrons, number of neutrons, and the number of electrons that are arranged in a shell that are around the nucleus. The electron shell can hold two in its first shell, in the second shell it can hold 8, and in the third shell, it can hold 8 electrons. Here is a picture to show how the shell can be arranged.
