Jack and the Beanstalk
Jack and his family were poor. Jack lived with his widow mum. Everyday he would help his mum, by helping around the house. Jack and his mum were poor. They didn’t have enough money to buy seeds for their farm. So they had to sell their cow. Jack went to town to sell their cow. On the way town he met Someone
Someone sold beans to Jack. An old man was selling 3 magic beans. He wanted to trade the beans for the cow. The old man told him that the beans were magical, if you plant them and leave it overnight it would grow to the sky. The old man said “if the beans didn’t work we are trading back.” Once he got home and told his mum, his burst into tears crying. Jack plants the beans. When Jack wakes up the next morning his room seems darker, but it was really sunny outside. Something was blocking Jacks window, it was green, tall and big. Jack got dressed and ran outside to see what was outside. He saw what it was. He couldn't believe what he saw. He saw a beanstalk, a beanstalk he has never seen. The beanstalk went to the sky. Using the twisted vines and big leaves he climbed up. He climbed to the top of the beanstalk it took him at least half a day.
Jack saw a castle. Jack ran on the clouds to the castle. The giant door opened, revealing a horrible giant lady. She had one giant eye in the middle of her head. As soon as Jack saw her he ran, but the lady grabbed him and dragged him in the castle. "Don't be in such a hurry, I'm sure a growing boy like you would like a nice, big breakfast," said the great, big, tall woman, "It's been so long since I got to make breakfast for a boy." When Jack first saw her he thought that she was horrible, but then he came to know that she was and she was pretty nice. She took Jack to the kitchen and gave him milk and cheese. While he was eating he felt the ground shaking. He wondered what it was. The lady was panicking because that was her husband and he doesn’t like humans. She quickly hid Jack in a large copper pot. As soon as her husband walked in he said that he is so hungry he could eat 3 cows. The giant could smell Jack.
Giant starts to speak in rhymes. He sang “Fee-fi-fo-fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman, Be he alive or be he dead, i’ll have his bones to grind on my bread. "Nonsense, dear," said his wife, "We haven't had a boy for breakfast in years. Now you go and wash up and by the time you come back your breakfast will be ready for you." so he went to go clean up. Jack was going to run, but the lady stopped him “Wait for him to sleep” said the lady. Jack surprisingly saw a goose laying golden eggs. Jack peeked out of the copper pot just as the giant returned to the kitchen carrying a basket filled with golden eggs and a sickly-looking, white hen. The giant poked the hen and and it pooped a golden egg. The giant added the golden egg to his basket. A Magic Harp that plays by itself . After his breakfast, the giant went to the closet and pulled out a golden harp with the face of a sad, young girl. The giant poked the harp and growled, "Play" and the harp began to play a gentle tune while her lovely face sang a lullaby. Then the giant began to nod his head and to snore until the house shook. When the giant was sleeping Jack crept out of the copper pot began to to tiptoe out of the kitchen. Just as he was about to leave, he heard the harp crying.

Jack thought about it and sighed, and went back in the kitchen. Jack takes the crying harp and the sick hen. Jack begins to tiptoe out out but the goose makes a sound. The giant wakes up and started to shout “Wife, wife where is my goose and harp.” Quickly after that the giant realized that he has been tricked. Jack escapes. Jack quickly makes a run for it. The giant realized that jack was running but the giant couldn’t figure out where Jack was because of the clouds. The giant started to run, he roared angrily. He had seen the beanstalk. He climbed down and Jack was already was at the bottom. Jack quickly asked his mum for the axe. Jack was really good with axes because of how many chores he used it with. Jack cut through half of the beanstalk, and it started to lean over on the giant side. The giant was confused he didn’t know what was going on. Jack cut through the whole beanstalk and the giant fell over and the beanstalk fell on him and he died. The harp thanked him from saving it from the giant. They helped the goose recover from the trauma it has been through. The goose laid golden eggs for them everyday and helped them become rich, and Jack bought Old Bess back. The harp played very nice music for them. They all were very happy mainly because they were wealthy.
